NATURAL GUT UNRIVALLED PERFORMANCE FEATURING EXCEPTIONAL POWER AND COMFORT IDEALLY FOR INDOORS

Babolat VS Team

The best fine-gauge strings legendary string with unrivalled performance. Exceptional power and comfort, amazing tension holding. Babolat natural gut is the absolute benchmark. With its exceptional qualities, VS Team gut satisfies the needs of club players and competitive players alike.

Babolat VS Touch

VS Touch is not only great for top-level play, it provides nice power and an expanded sweet spot to beginners and intermediates with compact strokes. It's also a great option for tendonitis sufferers in search of a softer response. As for hybrids, this is the perfect compliment to stiff polys. Thermogut Technology Finishing increases durability and resistance to humidity, according to Babolat. This is the "Gold Standard" for comfort and playability

MULTIFILAMENT GREAT FOR POWER, COMFORT AND TENSION MAINTENANCE NOT AMAZING CONTROL AND DURABILITY

Head Velocity

Head Velocity MLT 16 is a multifilament string offering a combination of power, touch and great spin potential, due to low friction additives in the coating.

Babolat Excel

One of the most popular strings by Babolat, widely popular for its comfort. Xcel is also the string used by Babolat in pre-strung versions of its top of the range rackets. The soft polyamide multifilament construction with double coating rivals natural gut for feel and comfort and is surpasses nylon synthetic guts in all comparisons.

Wilson Sensation Comfort

Great value in a multifilament! A comfortable playing string with a nice blend of feel & playability. Known for its vibration dampening qualities, Sensation original lives up to its long-standing reputation as an arm-friendly string choice. It's a great option for players looking for a soft, playable alternative to natural gut, or for those seeking a more comfortable selection compared to the stiffer synthetic guts. This thinner 17g version is even softer and offers more spin potential while sacrificing a bit of durability compared to the 16g version.

Wilson Sensation Power + Comfort

Sensation Plus takes the highly elastic nylon fibers present in Sensation and wraps them in metallic ribbons for elevated comfort and durability. Available in 1.30 gauge and a natural colour to suit a variety of player interests, this string is a great value option for beginner or intermediate players who would prefer not to break the bank.

Wilson NXT Comfort

Wilson's premium and renowned multifilament offering comes closest to matching Natural Gut in feel and power. According to Wilson, it expands the sweetspot by 10% and reduces vibration by 70% compared to ordinary synthetic gut, thanks to it construction which sees Xycro Micro fibres wrapped in polyurethane coating. For many years now, NXT has established itself as being high performer and excellent choice for those looking for the natural gut performance without its drawbacks.

SYNTHETIC GUT ECONOMIC STRING OK OVERALL GREAT FOR BEGINNERS TO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

Babolat Spiraltek

Babolat's new synthetic gut. SpiralTek is a solid core string made with a durable polyamide core and wrapped with flexible filaments. The result is a comfortably crisp synthetic gut that offers the comfort of a gut with some of the power and durability of tougher strings.

Technifibre Synthetic Gut

Babolat's new synthetic gut. SpiralTek is a solid core string made with a durable polyamide core and wrapped with flexible filaments. The result is a comfortably crisp synthetic gut that offers the comfort of a gut with some of the power and durability of tougher strings.

Pro's Pro Synthetic Gut

Pro's Pro Synthetic Gut is a performance based, classical synthetic string with a robust, monofilament core wrapped with a super-elastic filament layer. This string offers the perfect compromise between durability and good playability.

POLYESTER OR CO-POLY GREAT FOR CONTROL, SPIN AND DURABILITY (NOT SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS) OR PLAYERS WITH ARM INJURIES

Wilson Ripspin

Wilson Ripspin is crisp and durable co-poly made for the big hitter who wants maximum control and phenomenal spin. This string's coating is treated with a special low-friction additive to promote the needed "snapback" for heavy spin. With it's extremely precise and predictable response, we think Ripspin will give hard hitting baseliners the confidence to swing big and play aggressive tennis. In addition to creating increased ball rotation and more explosive spin.

Mantis Tour Poly

A durable co-poly string that has been through a unique chemical treatment to offer an excellent balance of power and control. Fantastic all-round performance. Excellent power level and superb control which gives you a superior tension maintenance. Monofilament String

Babolat RPM Blast

This durable co-poly string offers massive spin potential and pinpoint control. The slick surface of RPM Blast allows the main strings to slide out of alignment, grab the ball and then snap back to add spin to the shot. While all co-poly monofilaments do this to some extent, our lab tests confirm that RPM Blast is exceptional in this regard. Though RPM Blast offers a slightly softer feel than traditional polyesters, it is by no means the softest co-poly available. It is an ideal choice for big hitters with heavier racquets seeking maximum control, durability, and spin. Used by Rafael Nadal…say no more!

Babolat Pro Hurricane

Babolat Pro Hurricane is a polyester based durability string designed to meet the needs of top tournament players. Babolat introduced a construction process called Technology XFP which utilises Babolat’s string material Xtrem Futur Polymer.

Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour

The Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour stands for power and spectacular spin. This makes it especially popular for performance players. Thanks to the octagonal string structure the Pro Hurricane Tour gives your balls exceptional twist. The string has more grip in play than the Pro Hurricane and assures aggressive power loaded balls. The Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour not only captures your power and spin but demonstrates them to your opponent.

Solinco Tour Bite

Solinco Tour Bite is a co-polyester monofilament string offering high performance and which has been designed to generate power, intense spin and ball bite from the design and shape of the fibres. Offering great tension maintenance.

This below string comes in 4 options

ALU Power

Big Banger Alu Power is the benchmark for playable durability. Popular on the ATP Tour, big-hitter sand string-breakers alike. The 1.25mm gauge is the standard for playable durability, while the thicker gauge is great for open string patterns and as the mains for any hybrid set-up. Constructed from a blend of poly and aluminium fibres, the Alu Power range continues its dominant position in the polyester market.

Luxilon Power Spin

This is the shaped version of the most popular string on the ATP Tour. Luxilon ALU Power Spin has the same incredible precision and feel of the standard ALU Power, but it comes with a pentagonal shape for ripping into the ball (think spin). The low-powered response allows the player to swing bigger when going for pace and spin. Very durable and great in a full set or a hybrid (with a softer, more powerful string).

Luxilon ALU Power Rough

The durable and control oriented response of Luxilon ALU and other Luxilon co-polyester strings has revolutionized professional tennis. By far the most popular choice on the ATP Tour, the co-polyester monofilament construction allows a player to take full cuts at the ball without any loss of control. Players with fast swing speeds also tend to find these strings very spin friendly. ALU Rough is textured to further enhance spin production.

Luxilon ALU Power Soft

The elastic Luxilon Alu Power Soft is arm friendly even with full Alu Power quality. The soft version of the Alu Power series focuses on more comfort and feeling. The Alu Power Soft has the complete Alu Power characteristics of accuracy, ball feeling and spin but additionally it is extra arm friendly. The soft texture gains an incomparable arm comfort. The excellent comfort, touch and yet handy spin makes the Alu Power Soft the most used string among professionals on tour. The successful combination of comfort and performance! Enjoy the highest level of playing comfort!

The below string comes in 3 options

Luxilon 4G

Though quite firm and durable, Luxilon 4G, choice of Serena & Venus Williams, Alexandr Dolgopolov, Paul-Henri Mathieu, Kei Nishikori and Grigor Dimitrov, to name a few, is loaded with playability. Our testers found this one to have higher than average comfort for a monofilament. Luxilon spent two years tweaking the molecular properties of 4G in order to extend the life of playability. This is a great option for players who want all the benefits of a control string without the high tension loss and impact shock that comes with some of the first generation polys. This doesn't mean it will work for players who prefer natural gut or nylon multifilaments, but it does mean that for players with long, fast strokes Luxilon has created a very user-friendly co-poly.

Luxilon 4G Rough

OUT OF STOCK
Though quite firm and durable, Luxilon 4G Rough is loaded with playability. This rough version provides a little extra grip on the ball for added spin potential. We found this one to have above average comfort for such a firm control string. While 4G Rough may not work for players who prefer natural gut or nylon multifilaments, it is ideal for big hitters in search of control, spin and durability.

Luxilon 4G Soft

Luxilon introduces a softer version of 4G. Like the original version, 4G Soft offers remarkable tension maintenance, scoring well above average in our Tennis Warehouse University String Lab. Although it is softer than the original 4G, this string is still firm and best suited to intermediate and advanced players who make their own power. The exceptional control on full swings lends itself to fast swing speeds and very easy access to spin. This is a great option for big hitters who want control, spin and durability along with increased tension maintenance.

Luxilon Adrenaline

Offering a crisp feel, Adrenaline is big on control. Powerful players will be able to play the game, but they will not be able to play the game.

Luxilon Element

As one of the softest strings in Luxilon's line-up, Element is ideal for big hitters who want exceptional precision and spin without the high level of shock that comes with a traditional control string. Like its predecessors (M2 Pro and M2 Plus), Element features Multi-Mono Technology, giving it a slightly more flexible feel than other Luxilon monofilaments, especially on slower stroke speeds where more traditional polys tend to feel stiff and unresponsive. A great option for intermediate and advanced players looking for a durable control string with above average feel and comfort.

Yonex Poly Tour Fire

Players with long, fast strokes should love Yonex Poly Tour Fire - a round polyester monofilament that will keep your biggest strokes inside the lines. The feel is firm but nicely dampened, with a surprisingly low level of shock on off-center hits. Yonex has made this string with its unique Silicone Oil Infused Filament (SIF) Technology. This is a manufacturing process that reduces stringbed friction, enabling the strings to snap back with vicious force (resulting in heavy spin). Our TW playtesters were impressed by how much control this string offered on full swings. Although this might be a little too firm for beginners, we think it is perfect for intermediate and advanced players, especially if they want control, durability and spin. Tension maintenance is above average.

Yonex Poly Tour Pro

The Yonex Poly Tour Pro 125 is a softer playing poly string. This one is very, very spin-friendly. Power players will love the control and feel they get from all areas of the court. A solid, durable string that is a great choice for aggressive, big hitting players. As used by Maria Kirilenko

MSV Focus Hex

Featuring a hexagonal profile for increased ball bite and spin production, Focus Hex is a great choice for today's power player. It provides a high level of control and a softer feel than traditional polyester strings, this string is hexagonal version of Co.- Focus. We found excellent access to spin when testing this string. Comfort was also impressive for a co-poly and the 1.23mm version offers a great blend of power, control and durability.

Head Lynx

Head Lynx is a medium firm co-poly that delivers remarkable precision on full swings. As such this string is ideal for players with long, fast strokes. With its lively snapback, Lynx should help topspin players hit a heavy spin loaded ball that explodes off the court. Built with additives to increase elasticity and feel, Lynx also performs well on slower strokes where it possesses above average touch for a firm monofilament. Recommended to intermediate and advanced players. Try this thin version for maximum spin.

Head Sonic Pro

Made from uniquely refined co-polymer polyester with a soft molecular construction, Sonic Pro string offers superior control and touch for extra pop and spin. This soft feeling durable string offers a nice lively response and playability in a polyester.

Tecnifibre Black Code

Tecnifibre Black Code is a co-poly string and features THERMOCORE technology. It offers a PENTAGONAL profile for good bite on the ball resulting in better spin potential. This string has minimal tension loss while offering an extremely soft feel.

REPLACE YOUR GROMMETS

Did you know that the grommets which surround your tennis have a vital part to play in the durability of our string. They ensure the string and frame interact properly to give you the utmost performance. If you have a racquet for long enough, and you restring often, the grommets will need to be replaced, as well. When grommets get worn down, the strings can break prematurely because the sharp frame holes cut into the string.

I'm so happy that this service exists! Super friendly, great communication, excellent quality. We are really happy with our rackets, paid the same price that the very rude man at the only tennis shop nearby charges, and we didn't even have to leave the house.
